7. What is a doorstep loan?
A doorstep loan (also known as a home credit loan) is a personal loan where one of our friendly agents visits you at home to arrange the loan and collect weekly repayments in person. It is a convenient, traditional way to borrow, and many of our customers prefer this personal service.
8. How long does approval take?
We aim to review your application and contact you within 24 hours on weekdays. If your loan is approved, our agent will arrange a home visit at a time that suits you to complete the paperwork and provide your funds.
9. What documents do I need to apply?
You will typically need to provide:
- Proof of identity (e.g. driving licence, passport)
- Proof of address (where you have lived for at least three years)
- Your telephone number
- Proof of income (payslips, bank statements, or benefit letters)
10. Can I repay my loan early?
Yes. If you wish to repay your loan ahead of schedule, please speak to our team. We will work with you to settle your balance, and early repayment may save you money on interest.
11. What happens if I struggle to make a repayment?
If you are finding it difficult to keep up with repayments, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand that circumstances can change, and we will always do our best to find a solution that works for you. We may be able to adjust your repayment plan.
